Autonomous Vehicles

The Connected and Autonomous Vehicles initiative is targeted at promoting the development of activities in the area of automated vehicles, a high priority area for VTS and IEEE. Automated vehicles will rely on sensors and wireless connectivity to improve road safety and management, and their fundamental technologies are aligned with the fields of interest of the Vehicular Technology Society. The Automated Vehicles program seeks to promote technical activities, networking, publications, standards and access to technical information in connected vehicles.
