Dr. Ikjot Saini is the co-founder and co-director of SHIELD Automotive Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence and an assistant professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Windsor. She is an automotive cybersecurity professional whose research is focused on Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, covering the security and privacy aspects of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technology. Her research interests include wireless communication networks, V2X network security, privacy-preserving techniques, simulation modelling, intrusion detection systems and securing electric vehicle charging communication. She has published many research papers and journal articles, including V2X privacy schemes, misbehaviour detection in vehicular networks, and blockchain applications in connected and autonomous vehicles.
