Jihong Yu received the B.E degree in communication engineering and M.E degree in communication and information systems from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing, China, in 2010 and 2013, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science at the University of Paris-Sud, Orsay, France, in 2016. He was a postdoc fellow in the School of Computing Science, Simon Fraser University, Canada. He is currently a professor in the School of Information and Electronics at Beijing Institute of Technology. His research interests include backscatter networking, Internet of things, and Space-air communications. He is serving as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Internet of Things Journal and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology. He received the Best Paper Award at the IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM) 2020.
