The AdHoc Committee on History is tasked with preserving and promoting the history of both vehicular technology and of the Vehicular Technology Society, with particular interest in preparing for the 75th anniversary of VTS in 2024.  

In particular, the committee proposes VTS-related Milestones to the IEEE History Committee, prepares materials to be included in the commemorative volume entitled “A Brief History of Vehicular Technology,” and prepares papers on history for publication in Vehicular Technology Magazine, Transactions on Vehicular Technology, VTS Mobile World, and other VTS publications.
