Qingyang Song (Senior Member, IEEE) received a Ph.D. degree in telecommunications engineering from The University of Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia, in 2007. From 2001 to 2002 she was with the TCL (in Shenzhen, China) where she worked as a Software Engineer. From 2007 to 2018, she served as an Associate Professor and a Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, at Northeastern University, China. She also served as an Academic Committee member and a Degree Committee member of the School. Since Sept. 2018, she has joined the Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China, as a Professor. She has achieved an excellent track record for teaching, student supervision, and research with the publication of 2 books, over 10 patents, and over 120 research papers in high-impact journals and conferences in the field of communications engineering. She has successfully secured significant research funding through highly competitive government programs and established productive partnerships with both industry and governmental research organizations. She has contributed to the profession and the community as an Area Editor of IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, an Academic Editor of Digital Communications and Networks, the Chair of the IEEE VTS Fellowship and Scholarship Committee, and TPC chairs for some IEEE conferences.
