Wei Wei (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in optical information science and technology from Jilin University in 2010, and Ph.D. degree in electronic science and technology from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2015. He worked as postdoc researcher in University College Cork and Tyndall National Institute from 2015 to 2016, research engineer in Huawei, Shenzhen from 2016 to 2017, and Hong Kong Scholar researcher in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2018 to 2020. He is currently an associate professor with the School of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Guangzhou University. He also worked in several startups as R&D directors. His current research interest is 3D perception of  autonomous vehicles including stereo depth estimation and LiDAR. He has authored one book on automotive LiDAR and more than 40 papers.
