Amr A. Fahmy (Member, IEEE) is a Former First-Undersecretary of ACA, and currently performs as a freelancer assistant in research activities in telecommunication engineering. Published research papers in fields of Power Control of 3G mobile comm., Optimization of resource allocation in HetNets, Energy Efficiency in 4G mobile comm., Performance Optimization in LTE and IoT. Employed evaluation/optimization using tools such as Simulation, Queueing Networks, Stochastic Modeling and Analysis. Recently, was elected as the treasurer of Vehicular Technology Society Chapter of the IEEE Egypt Section (Formed in Dec 2022).
