Dr. El-Wakeel is an Assistant Professor in the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University, USA. His research interest is in the area of intelligent, safe, and secure cyber physical systems and robotics. He frequently serves in the IEEE VTS flagship conference, IEEE VTC, as a track chair and TPC member.
