Dr. Mayuree Binjolkar is a research scientist who earned her PhD in Data Science (transportation engineering concentration) from the University of Washington, Seattle, and her undergraduate degree in engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Her research specializes in human driver decision-making and the integration of Artificial Intelligence to enhance transportation systems. Previously, she has developed deep learning-based driver monitoring prototypes for both industry and academic research, with notable contributions to projects in collaboration with DENSO, Toyota, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). She has also been involved in significant research efforts, including an NIH-funded study on fitness-to-drive metrics for young adults. Dr. Binjolkar is dedicated to mentorship, actively supporting women and international students in STEM fields.
