Ubaid Qureshi received the B.Tech. Degree in electrical engineering and the M.Tech. Degree in power and energy systems from the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, India, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. He is currentlyworking toward a PhD degree with the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India.In April 2017, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Institute of Technology, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, as an Assistant Professor. From 2016 to 2017, he was with the Technical Section of Chief-Engineer Projects of the Power Development Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir. From 2013 to 2014, he was an Adjunct Faculty with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology. His research interests include intelligent transportation, autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, reinforcement learning, and smart grids.Mr. Qureshi received the President’s Gold Medal for B.Tech. Degree.
