Pascal Midy is a Supervising Senior Communications Engineer with WSP USA, with over 15 years of experience in Communications and Network Engineering supporting transit & rail transportation infrastructure.

Pascal provides a wealth of knowledge gained from hands on experience in several key stages of a typical communications infrastructure deployment; design, build, configure, testing and commissioning of core WAN and LAN networking equipment. Pascal’s focus is Layer 2/3 networking and fiber optic infrastructure, supporting a variety of critical subsystems for example train control systems such as ATC, CBTC and PTC, as well as providing feasibility studies, field inspections, and construction management of engineers, contractors, and unionized personnel deploying similar infrastructures. In addition, subsystems such as CCTV, SCADA, Intrusion and Access Control, and Public Address/Customer Information Systems are all part of the communication & control systems Pascal has experience in designing, building, testing, and commissioning in both factory and field environments.

Pascal is uniquely qualified in the transit industry for a diverse spectrum of network communications / system integration work and will utilize the knowledge of lessons learned in all areas developing a broadened telecommunications infrastructure for various systems.
