Seung-Hoon Hwang received a BSc, an MSc, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in 1992, 1994, and 1999, respectively. From 1999 to 2004, he worked at LG Electronics, Korea. From 2003 to 2004, he was a Visiting Research Fellow with Prof. Lajos Hanzo at the University of Southampton, U.K. He is now a Professor in the Division of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at Dongguk University, Seoul, Korea. In 2010, he was a Visiting Professor with Prof. John Cioffi at Stanford University, U.S.A. He is an Executive Director for the Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences, Korea, and a chairman for the spectrum committees in the 5G Forum, Korea.
