Yang Xing received his Ph. D. degree from Cranfield University, UK. He is currently a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Applied Artificial Intelligence at Cranfield University. Before joining Cranfield, he was a Research Associate with the University of Oxford and a Research Fellow with Nanyang Technological University. His research interests include intelligent multi-agent collaboration, and intelligent/autonomous vehicles. He is a senior member of IEEE and Associate Editor for IEEE Trans. on Intelligent Vehicles and IEEE Trans. on Neural Networks and Learning Systems etc. Currently he leads the HUMAX Lab at Cranfield University, which is focused on the design, testing, and validation of human-centred hybrid autonomous vehicles and transportation systems.
