Hossien Eldeeb, a Senior Member of IEEE, received a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Özyegin University, Istanbul, Turkey, in December 2021. He is currently a Research and Teaching Fellow in the Electrical Engineering Division at the University of Cambridge, UK. Before this, he held a Research Fellow position in Computer and Communication Engineering at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. With over 15 years of experience in research, teaching, and industry, Dr. Eldeeb’s expertise covers optical and wireless communications, vehicular communications, intelligent surfaces, cyber-physical systems, and the use of AI/ML in security and signal processing for wireless systems.  
 
Dr. Eldeeb has authored more than 50 publications, including journal articles, conference papers, book chapters, and contributions to IEEE standards. His work has received over 780 citations, reflecting an h-index of 17. He has been recognized with several awards, including the Best Student Paper Award at IEEE/IET CSNDSP 2020 and GITW Conference 2022.
