I received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical communications engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Daejeon, South Korea, in 2006 and 2008, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, USA in 2017. Since joining as an assistant professor in 2017, I have been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, GA, USA. Since 2023, I have been an associate professor at the same institution. His current research focus is on vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications/networking, reinforcement learning, blockchain, and human exposure to electromagnetic field (EMF) in wireless systems. I am a recipient of the best paper award at IEEE WCNC 2016 International Workshop on Smart Spectrum. I am a member of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society.
