Juan C. Tudon-Martinez obtained a PhD degree in sciences with a specialty in Mechatronics in 2014 from Tecnológico de Monterrey, with three research stays in GIPSA-lab at the INP Grenoble. Since 2015, Juan C. has been an IEEE member. From 2015 to 2021, he was an associate professor at Universidad de Monterrey. Since 2022, Juan Carlos has been a full-time professor-researcher in the School of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Prof. Tudon-Martinez is a member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico, level 1. During the last 5 years, he has led several consulting projects in Mexico, related to modeling and control theory applications (Vitro, Nutec-Bickley, Metalsa, Michelin, etc.). Prof. Tudon-Martinez (h-index 18) has published more than 80 research papers indexed in Scopus and/or JCR databases and he has been director/co-director of 10 postgraduate theses. His research is mainly focused on modeling and nonlinear control, vehicle dynamics, vehicle control, autonomous vehicles, and fault-tolerant control in vehicles.
