Yongming Huang is a chief professor at Southeast University and an IEEE Fellow. He also serves as the director of the pervasive communication research center at Purple Mountain Laboratories. His research interests include intelligent communications for 5G and 6G systems. Prof. Huang has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers in IEEE journals in the fields of wireless communications, and have received more than 18,000 citations on Google Scholar. He holds over 100 granted international and national invention patents. He submitted around 20 technical contributions to IEEE standards, and was awarded a certificate of appreciation for outstanding contribution to the development of IEEE standard 802.11aj. He has served as an Associate Editor for a couple of international journals including the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, the IEEE Wireless Communications Letters. He has received several best paper awards at international conferences such as IEEE GLOBECOM and IEEE WCNC.
