Anton Rassõlkin, born in Tallinn, Estonia, in 1985, focuses on the fields of electric drives, mechatronics, and autonomous systems. He graduated from Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech, Estonia) with bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in electric drives and power electronics, and an engineering diploma degree in automation from the University of Applied Sciences Giessen-Friedberg in Germany.
He is a professor at the Department of Electrical Power Engineering and Mechatronics at TalTech and the head of the Mechatronics and Autonomous Systems research group. His research focuses on electric drives, mechatronics, electric vehicles, and the development of digital twins in the context of software-defined electric vehicles.He is a member of several scientific organizations, including the IEEE, where he serves as a senior member and chair of the IEEE Estonia VTS (Vehicular Technology Society) section.
