Dr. Deepak Gangadharan received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from National University of Singapore in 2012. Subsequently, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Technical University of Denmark, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, and University of Pennsylvania. Since September 2019, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Computer Systems Group at IIIT Hyderabad. His main research interests are in scalable design and performance analysis of Edge-based IoT/Cyber-Physical Systems, design methodologies for embedded systems, and intelligent transportation systems. His research has won best paper awards in the conferences ISORC 2018 and MECO 2013. He has served in the program committee of IEEE conferences such as HiPC, ANTS, MASS, and SmartGridComm.
