Dr. J. Vijitha Ananthi is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of communication systems and computer science, with a Ph.D. in Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed University). She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research.

Dr. Vijitha Ananthi has more than 10 years of teaching, mentoring, and research experience across reputed institutions. She holds a Gold Medal in M.Tech (Communication Systems) and her doctoral research focused on secure and energy-efficient routing in Flying Ad Hoc Networks (FANETs) for biomedical applications. Her interdisciplinary knowledge bridges electronics and computer engineering, fostering innovation in wireless sensor networks, IoT, and UAV communications.

Her publication record includes over more than 20 journal articles in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals and several IEEE conference papers. She is a frequent reviewer for high-impact journals, with a track record of more than 20 verified peer reviews across international publishers. Her dedication to the advancement of communication technologies is further evidenced by her strong contributions in routing protocol design, trust management, and secure communication strategies.

She is an active IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (Autonomous Vehicles Member (Committee on Autonomous Vehicles) and IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) member and serves on multiple ComSoc technical committees, including: IEEE Wireless Communications Technical Committee, Signal Processing and Computing for Communications Technical Committee, Big Data Technical Committee, and IoT - AHSN (Ad Hoc & Sensor Networks) Committee.
