Feng Shu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree from Fuyang Normal University, Fuyang, China, in 1994, the M.S. degree from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2002. He was a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow with the University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson, TX, USA, and a Visiting Scholar with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne VIC, Australia. From 2005 to 2020, he was with the Nanjing University of Science and Technology, being promoted to Full Professor in 2013. Since 2020, he has been with the School of Information and Communication Engineering, Hainan University, where he is currently a Professor and a Supervisor of Ph.D. and graduate students. He has authored or coauthored more than 400 archival journal papers, including more than 150 on IEEE journals and 330 SCI - indexed papers with more than 11500 citations. He holds one US patent and about 50 Chinese patents. His research interests include machine learning, wireless networks, wireless location, and array signal processing. He was awarded the Hainan First Prize for Natural Science in 2025, First Prize for Science and Technology of the China Institute of Communications in 2025, Fujian Third Prize for Natural Science in 2024, Leading-Talent Plan of Hainan Province in 2020, Fujian Hundred-Talent Plan of Fujian Province in 2018, and Minjiang Scholar Chair Professor in 2015. From 2019 to 2024, he was ranked in the 2% Top Scientists by Stanford/Elsevier, and enters the list of 1% Top scientists in 2024. Currently,he is the Associate Editor (AE) of IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, and Journal of Data Science and Intelligent System. He was ever the AEs of IEEE Systems Journal and IEEE Access, and the Guest Editors of CJA, Journal of Electronics and Information Technology, and IET Communications.
