Hakim Ghazzai (SM’20) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia, in 2015, and the Diplome d’Ingenieur (Hons.) and the master’s degree in telecommunication engineering from the Ecole Superieure des Communications de Tunis (SUP’COM), Tunis, Tunisia, in 2010 and 2011, respectively. He was a Researcher Scholar with the Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC), Qatar, Karlstad University, Sweden, and Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ, USA. He is currently a Senior Research Scientist with KAUST. He has been on the Editorial Board of the IEEE Communications Letters and the IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society. He is a recipient of appreciation for being an exemplary reviewer for IEEE Wireless Communications Letters in 2016 and IEEE Communications Letters in 2017. He is the author and co-author of more than 210 publications. His general research interests include artificial intelligence-enabled applications, the Internet of Things, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and wireless networks.
