Harshal Shah is a seasoned product and technology leader with over 13 years of experience in voice and audio systems, spanning the automotive and consumer electronics industries. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at General Motors, Harshal works on developing next-generation voice technologies, including hands-free calling systems, in-car communication, and advanced voice assistant integrations. Before joining GM, Harshal held key engineering roles at DENSO Ten, Microsoft, and Nokia. At Microsoft, he worked on acoustic tuning and audio performance for Surface devices, while at Nokia, he played a pivotal role in launching the company's first tablet. At DENSO Ten, he led hands-free audio system tuning for Toyota vehicles, setting benchmarks for in-vehicle voice clarity. As a Senior IEEE Member, Harshal has reviewed more than 80 technical papers for leading IEEE conferences and serves as the handling editor for the SAE journal. His expertise covers digital signal processing, voice processing, and speech enhancement technologies. Harshal holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a B. Eng. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Gujarat Technological University.
