Hu Xiong received his B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2004 and 2009, respectively. He is currently a professor in Network and Data Security Key Laboratory of Sichuan Province at UESTC. His research interest includes Cryptography and Privacy-Preserving Computation. He has published two monographs and more than 100 technical papers in peer-review journals/conferences, including IEEE JSAC, TDSC, TIFS，TSC, TVT, IoTJ. He is currently serving the editorial boards of IEEE Internet of Things Journal and Journal of Computers Research and Development (in chinese). He is a Senior member of IEEE.
