Professor Kanghyun Nam earned his B.S. from Kyungpook National University (2007), M.S. from KAIST (2009), and Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo (2012). After working at Samsung Electronics, he joined Yeungnam University in 2015, becoming an Associate Professor. Since August 2025, he has been an Associate Professor at DGIST. His research focuses on mobility systems, vehicle dynamics, and mechatronics. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology and IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine and won the Best Paper Award from IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics in 2013.
