Michael Losh received a B.A. degree in Physics from Grinnell College and a M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oakland University. He is a Staff Researcher in General Motors Research and Development Vehicle Systems Lab, in the Perception, Planning, and Decision Systems lab group. Through much of his career, he has worked in automotive embedded control software development, including development for several of GM’s autonomous concept vehicles, AV research projects, early production AV programs, and a recent focus on mapping and map use. He is currently serving as a reviewer for ASME Journal of Autonomous Vehicles and Systems. He is a member of IEEE and IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS).
