Muhammad Adil (Senior Member, IEEE) is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Texas Southern University, TX, USA. He is the founding Director of the ACM Emerging Interest Group on Trustworthy and Responsible Systems (ACM EIGTRUST). He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, in 2025. During his doctoral studies, he was awarded the Chair’s Fellowship and the Best Applicant Award, and he was also nominated for the Best Ph.D. Research. Adil’s research interests include Cybersecurity, Biometrics, Human-Computer Interactions, and emerging technologies. He has many publications in prestigious journals such as IEEE Internet of Things, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles, IEEE Transactions on Green Communication Networking, IEEE Sensor Journal, IEEE Network Magazine, IEEE SMS Magazine, IEEE Micro Magazine, ACM Computing Surveys, ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, etc. In addition, he is a member of the IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Industrial Electronics, IEEE Cybersecurity, IEEE Young Professionals, IEEE Industrial Electronics Ambassador (Region1), USA, and the London Journal Press Club-UK, as an Honorary member. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Internet of Things, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, and Telecommunication Systems, etc.
