Muhammad Ali Jamshed has been with the University of Glasgow since 2021. He is currently affiliated as a Collaborating Researcher with the Machine Learning and Communications Lab at Stanford University, USA and a Visiting Research Professor at KNU South Korea. He also serves as Chief Technical Advisor at TEQ-IT Ltd. He was a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Sussex from 2022 to 2024 and worked as a Wireless Technical Consultant with Briteyellow Ltd, between 2022 and 2023. He is endorsed by Royal Academy of Engineering under exceptional talent category and was nominated for Departmental Prize for Excellence in Research in 2019 at the University of Surrey. He is a Fellow of Royal Society of Arts, a Fellow of Higher Education Academy UK, a Member of the EURASIP Academy, and an Editor of IEEE Wireless Communication Letters and an Associate Editor of IEEE Sensor Journal, IEEE IoT Magazine, and IEEE Communication Standard Magazine. He is the Lead Chair and the Founder of IEEE ComSoc Special Interest Group on AI for Integrated TN and NTN (AITNTN). He has been serving as General Chair for over 25 workshops at IEEE international conferences such as at IEEE GLOBECOM, IEEE ICC and IEEE INFOCOM. He has more than 100 publications in top tier international journals, including, IEEE Transactions and Magazines, flagship IEEE COMSOC conferences, such as ICC, VTC, INFOCOM, WCNC, etc. He is an editor of 6 books. Moreover, he served as a TPC, and the workshop Chair, at many well-known conferences, i.e., ICC, WCNC, INFOCOM, VTC, GlobeCom etc., and other scientific workshops.
