Norulhusna Ahmad received her Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication) and PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2003 and 2014, respectively, from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence (formerly the Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics) at UTM Kuala Lumpur and has over 15 years of research experience. She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed international journal papers/proceedings in the areas of Wireless Communication Systems, cognitive radio, Internet of Things (IoT), and machine/deep learning applications. Her current research areas cover Future Wireless Communication Systems, Massive IoT Technologies, Aerial Communication, Deep Learning towards AI Applications, Multiple Access Techniques, and Image Processing. She secured grants from national and international sponsors, mainly for projects related to AI, wireless communication, and ML/DL applications. She is a Professional Technologist awarded by the Board of Technologists Malaysia and a Graduate Member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). She has been a loyal member of IEEE since 2001 and is currently a Senior Member of the IEEE Communications and Vehicular Society and the IEEE Signal Processing Society.
