Dr. Abadpour (Senior member IEEE) is a Staff researcher in the field of algorithm development for autonomous driving and serves as Vice-Chair of IEEE Young Professionals and Entrepreneurship Coordinator Germany section. Sevda Abadpour pursued her Ph.D. in the field of Autonomous Driving (AD) sensors and ADAS. Her research field, during the last 10 years, has focused on advancing AD sensor technologies, with a particular focus on software/hardware development, algorithm development, embedded system development, and complex environmental data collection for the application of machine learning (ML) methods and as well as EM wave propagation in traffic scenarios. She is the author or coauthor of more than 15 scientific articles and over 10 contributions at international conferences. Dr. Abadpour is an active contributor to academic and scientific communities like IEEE as a scientific reviewer and speaker for IEEE and has taken on volunteer leadership roles in the last 13 years with different companies and societies, like IEEE EDS, IEEE EMC, IEEE VTS, APs, and IEEE MTTs.
