Hi, I’m Sree Kannan, a Mechatronics Engineering student at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology. I’ve always been fascinated by how machines move and think—especially when it comes to autonomous vehicles and smart mobility systems. I currently serve as the Chairperson of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society at my college, where I’ve had the chance to organize events, workshops, and hackathons that bring students closer to real-world mobility challenges. I’ve also completed hands-on internships where I worked on hybrid engine test rigs and explored how technology like ADAS can make driving safer and smarter. I enjoy collaborating with like-minded peers, learning from experts, and contributing to innovations that could shape the future of transport. Joining this committee feels like the perfect opportunity to grow, contribute, and be part of something meaningful in the autonomous mobility space.
