Taner Goktas (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Firat University, Elazig, Türkiye, in 2006 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Inonu University, Malatya, Türkiye, in 2015. He was a Visiting Scholar with the Power Electronics and Drives Laboratory, The University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson, TX, USA, from 2014 to 2015. Since 2021, he has been a faculty member with Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Türkiye. His current research interests include condition monitoring, fault diagnosis, and the design of electric machines and drives. Dr. Goktas serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology and IEEE Sensors Journal.
