Wen-Xuan Long received the B.S. degree in Rail Transit Signal and Control from Dalian Jiaotong University, Dalian, China, in 2017. She obtained dual Ph.D. degrees in Information and Communication Engineering from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, and in Information Engineering from the University of Pisa (cum laude), Pisa, Italy, in 2023. She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow with the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy.
Her research expertise includes wireless communications, signal processing, and estimation and detection theory. Her current research interests focus on channel modeling and estimation for 5G and beyond-5G (B5G) wireless communication systems, with particular emphasis on high-frequency near-field propagation and integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems.
Dr. Long has authored or co-authored more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conference proceedings. She is also a co-author of the textbook Circular Array-Based Radio Frequency OAM Communications (2023). From 2020 to 2023, she served as a member of the IMT-2030 (6G) Promotion Group. In addition, she has organized workshops and special sessions at several international conferences, including IEEE ICC and EUSIPCO.
