Xianfu Lei received the Ph.D. degree from Southwest Jiaotong University, China, in 2012. He worked as a Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Utah State University, USA, from 2012-2014. He is currently a Professor with the School of Information Science and Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University, China. He has published over 200 papers in international journals and conferences. His research interests are in the fields of communication theory and wireless networks. He was a recipient of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society Best Magazine Paper Award in 2023. He is currently serving as an Executive Editor for IEEE Communications Letters, an Area Editor for IEEE Transactions on Communications, and an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.
