Call for Initiative Funding Proposals

VTS VP Finance Nick Kirsch invites you to submit New Initiative funding proposals for IEEE VTS special projects and activities to be conducted during 2024. VTS and the Technical Activities Board are making changes to ensure that initiatives have the best success by reviewing all proposals before the new year; there will no longer be two periods of initiatives reviews for the different funding mechanisms.

Special consideration will be given to initiatives that:

  • collaborate with an IEEE VTS Technical Committee
  • support the strategic activities of IEEE VTS, including but not limited to membership growth, volunteer engagement, and education
  • address climate change issues

Please submit your proposal using the online submission form by 4 August 2023. This form must be completed thoroughly and with sufficient detail to justify the proposed initiative. Read the IEEE VTS Initiative Guidelines prior to submitting your proposal.

Proposals will be evaluated by the VTS Finance Committee and all applicants will be notified of results by November 2023.
