San Diego Welcomes New Trolley Extension

The San Diego Mid-Coast Trolley Extension to the University Community area (see the September 2020 column) opened in 21 November 2021.

The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) and the San Diego Association of Governments hosted a Grand Opening Celebration in the University of California, San Diego Central Campus Trolley Station. More than 8,500 community members enjoyed free trolley rides and family-friendly festivities.
