Haibo Zhou (M'14-SM'18) received the Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Broadband Communications Research Group, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo. He is currently a Full Professor with the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Nanjing University, Nanjing, China. He has published over 100 scientific articles in leading journals and international conferences, including PIEEE, IEEE JSAC, IEEE TMC, IEEE IoTJ, and IEEE TWC etc. His research results have been highly visible, with 8 publications being ranked as ESI Highly Cited Papers. He was the author/co-author of 11 journal/conference best paper awards, including IEEE TCGCC Best Conference Paper Award in 2017, IEEE VTC-Fall in 2020, IEEE GLOBECOM in 2020, IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica “Norbert Wiener Review Award” in 2020. Dr. Zhou was elected as the IET Fellow in 2022. He was a recipient of the 2019 IEEE ComSoc Asia–Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award, 2023-2024 IEEE ComSoc Distinguished Lecturer, and 2023-2025 IEEE VTS Distinguished Lecturer. He served as Track/Symposium Co-Chair for IEEE/CIC ICCC 2019, IEEE VTC-Fall 2020, IEEE VTC-Fall 2021, WCSP 2022, IEEE GLOBECOM 2022, IEEE ICC 2024. He served as Guest Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology in 2021, IEEE Internet of Things Journal in 2021, 2018, and IEEE Communications Magazine in 2016. He is currently an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Network, and IEEE Wireless Communications Letter. His research interests include resource management and protocol design in B5G/6G networks, vehicular ad hoc networks, and space-air-ground integrated networks.
