Dear colleagues,
Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you well and inspired as we begin another promising chapter together.

In response to the rapidly growing number of high-quality submissions in the area of sensing and perception for automotive applications—and in our continued commitment to fostering diversity and excellence on the Editorial Board—it is my great pleasure to warmly welcome Dr. Muhammad Asad to our team.

Dr. Muhammad Asad
Affiliation: University of Galway
Editorial areas: Computer vision and deep learning for autonomous driving; bird’s-eye-view perception and multi-camera 3D understanding; out-of-distribution, novelty/anomaly detection, and uncertainty estimation; multi-modal sensor fusion (camera/LiDAR/radar) and robust perception; scene understanding, 3D detection/segmentation, tracking, and occupancy mapping; graph-based learning for perception and representation; efficient and real-time models, evaluation protocols, and robustness.

In addition, as our journal continues to attract a growing number of submissions at the intersection of AI, privacy, security, and cross-disciplinary research, we are delighted to welcome Dr. Sunder Ali Khowaja to the Editorial Board.

At the same time, I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation to Divya Garikapati, who is retiring from the Editorial Board after years of dedicated service. Her contributions have left a lasting imprint on the journal, and we are truly grateful.

With the continued support, passion, and collective wisdom of all of you, I am confident that OJVT will continue to flourish—reaching new heights in both quality and impact.

With my warmest thanks and best wishes,

Edward
